Welcome to Teachitworld, English Language Teaching resources online

We believe ... in helping teachers help each other

Our approach is simple but unique.

We believe that the best lesson ideas and materials are created by teachers at the chalkface. They're more engaging, more practical and more relevant. That's why we invite contributions from active classroom practitioners, and we share the love by dividing a portion of our revenue among our wonderfully creative team of contributors.

Most of us like to customise materials, to take them and make them our own. After all, no two teachers, lessons, students or classes are the same. That's why we provide editable versions of most of our resources for our members.

To find out more about becoming a member and making the most of Teachitworld, visit the Join page.

We don't believe in using technology for technology's sake. Teachitworld is all about improving lessons, saving time and using computers. In that order. So most of our ready-made whizzy resources have developed from essential, proven, familiar English language teaching tasks, and our whizzy DIY tools are truly open and flexible, enabling our members to make their own computer-based activities very easily.

Okay, enough of the philosophising.

If this is your first visit to the site you may find the First time here? page useful for its overview of the libraries and a little more information about how we work.

Congratulations to Tyrone Marsh (Elmira College, New York) who is the lucky winner of our draw for an iPod Nano!
Enjoy.
